David Graff

Trust, Security and Privacy

As the VP of Trust & Safety at Google, I lead a global team of ~250 policy and legal professionals who formulate and implement content moderation and behavioral policies for Google's consumer and generative AI products. I have over 8 years of experience in this role, building the policy team from scratch and setting the vision and strategy for product policy at Google globally.

My core competencies include managing enterprise risk, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, IPO management, ESG management, GTM and digital technology strategy, restructuring and offshoring, and innovative revenue models and partnerships. I have successfully managed an IPO, coordinated a private equity backed management buy-out, and initiated revenue initiatives that have generated significant incremental revenue. I have also consulted on acquisitions and ongoing operations for portfolio companies for CapitalG, Google's growth fund.

I am passionate about trust and safety, scaling for growth, and leveraging technology to create positive social impact. I have expertise in content moderation, behavioral and marketing practices, and GenAI, and I frequently speak, moderate, and participate in panels on a variety of corporate, technology, and equity issues. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Fluent, Inc. and previously as an independent director on the Saint Barnabas Medical Center. I hold a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from Brown University.
