Based in Los Angeles, Nike leads the Civil Society Fellowship which engages next-gen leaders to build civil discourse across ideological differences. A member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN), this Fellowship was founded as a partnership of ADL and Aspen. Nike previously led California Community Foundation’s (CCF) grantmaking for six years, overseeing grants to arts, education, juvenile justice, and health. Before CCF, Nike served as president of The Riordan Foundation for seven years. She is active in American truth and reconciliation efforts with AGLN. Prior to her nonprofit career, she was a brand manager for Nestlé and Pepsi-Cola. She is a trustee for HR&A Advisors, The John Randolph Haynes & Dora Haynes Foundation, Nonprofit Finance Fund. Nike received a BA in Economics & Political Science from Yale and was named one of the “100 Most Inspirational Alumni” by UCLA Anderson School, where she earned her MBA. Nike is a Marshall Memorial Fellow. Nike is a member of the 2004 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.

Joyce Johnson currently serves as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer for Pacific Gate Capital a value-oriented fund that invests in U.S. private credit managers. Joyce has been an active investor in the global debt and equity marketplaces for more than 35 years managing over $ 10.0 billion in global investments. Joyce possesses a solid understanding of business and financial operations, mergers and acquisitions and has a proven successful track record of creating and growing shareholder value. She has served on 28 boards in her career in many capacities including Chairman, Lead Director and Audit Committee Chairman. Joyce currently serves on the private company board of Kymera International. She also serves on publicly traded boards of Ayr Wellness, SportsTek and NewLake Capital Partners and chairs the Audit Committee of two of these companies. Joyce’s prior investment experience include senior management positions at Citibank, ING, Relativity Capital (a women and minority owned firm) and Cerberus Capital Management, a $66.0 billion investment firm. While employed at Cerberus, Joyce founded JJM, LLC a $300.0 million private equity fund that successfully invested in women and minority owned companies. Joyce is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. She is committed to serving the community as member of the boards of Hope Chicago, the Chicago Sinfonietta and is Chairman Emeritus of the DuSable Museum. Ms. Johnson-Miller received her BS in Finance from the University of Denver.

Dr. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings is an SNF Agora Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, a nonresident Senior Fellow at Brookings, and the Founder, President, and CEO of Global Policy Solutions LLC, a social change strategy firm. Dr. Rockeymoore Cummings directed the strategy to elevate closing the racial wealth gap on the national policy agenda, led a multi-million dollar leadership initiative to reverse childhood obesity and promote healthy communities, was at the forefront of the charge to strengthen and expand Social Security, and was the architect of the first-ever study examining the impact of level 5 autonomous vehicle technology on the U.S. labor market. She has served on numerous boards including the National Association of Counties Financial Services Corporation (past board chair), the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (past board chair), the National Academy of Social Insurance, the National Council on Aging, and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
