Her heritage, rooted in West Africa, springs from a lineage of influential figures: her grandmother, a nurse, entrepreneur, and NAACP leader in the South; her grandfather, who devoted his life to military service; and her father, a tennis coach and advocate for inner-city youth. This legacy has profoundly shaped her path, playing a pivotal role in her leadership within the Arizona Coalition for Change and Our Voice Our Vote Arizona, the premier Black-led civic engagement organization in the Southwest. She also served as the Arizona Coalitions Director for the Biden/Harris campaign in 2020, where she played a crucial role in mobilizing diverse communities. Her efforts have further extended to developing an inclusive and transformative framework at the City of Phoenix as Chief of Staff.

In her current role as the Chief Operating Officer at the National Association of Black Accredited Investors (NABAI), she focuses on rethinking traditional equity structures to foster more inclusive opportunities in the financial sector. She is committed to driving positive change and creating equity through purposeful investments that not only build economic value but also enrich communities by empowering them with sustainable and equitable growth opportunities.

Additionally, she serves as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard, where she supports students in the “Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling, and Action” course. In this role, she coaches students, facilitates learning, and helps them develop their leadership capacities through the power of narrative.

Her life is a testament to growth and continuous evolution. As a mother to three beautiful daughters and partner to her ambitious husband, she finds daily lessons that enhance her understanding and execution of leadership. Each moment with her family informs and refines her approach to both divine femininity and her evolving purpose, strengthening her commitment to a journey of lifelong learning and leadership.
